The Art of Candle-Making
Gather together with us to learn the art of candle-making with Grace of Good Things Designs on Thursday, Feb. 25 @ 4 p.m. in our Curate Mercantile creative workshop space. Grace will teach you the basics of candle making with natural soy wax and essential oils. You will have the choice of the size candle you would like to choose – one will dry in time for you to take home, the other needs a bit more time to set and you’ll need to come back to pick-it up. You are highly encouraged to sign-up as soon as possible since space is limited.
During this workshop, you will go through the entire process of melting wax, mixing essential oils (you get to choose the scents) and pouring the wax to dry. All attendees will get to take home a pouring pot, wood wicks, an instructional handout and their own handmade candle to enjoy! Scent options includes lavender, grapefruit, ylang ylang, pine needles and lemon grass which you can sample during the workshop.
Attendees will be socially distanced and facemasks are required. The Art of Candle-Making is limited to six attendees.
Date: Thursday, Feb. 25 @ 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Price and Materials: $60 each includes all materials needed to make one candle, a pouring pot, wicks and instructions to take home as well.
