Homemade Salsa With Chef Marci
February 27 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Make a Delicious Salsa!
Come join us for this hands-on workshop at Curate Mercantile on Saturday, February 27th at 3 p.m. with Chef Marci to learn basic knife skills, handling, maintenance and safety, all while making a delicious homemade salsa that you can replicate again and again. We will practice the fundamental cuts so you can slice and dice with confidence. Takeaways include homemade fresh salsa in a vintage glass jar, recipe for classic salsa and countless tips and tricks for excellent knife skills.
Please bring your own chef knife and a large wooden or plastic cutting board. For proper knife safety, it’s best to transport your knife in a knife case, knife bag, or wrap your knife in a towel and tape securely, ensuring the knife tip is completely covered. Each attendee will have their own workspace to allow for social distancing and facemasks are required. This workshop is limited to six attendees and is expected to sell out, so please reserve your spot as soon as possible.
WHEN: Saturday, February 27th from 3-4:30 p.m.
PRICE / MATERIALS: $39 per person for instruction, salsa and recipe
