Valentine’s Cookie Decorating
Curate Mercantile is thrilled to have popular Cookie Artist Ashley, owner of Denver’s Love & Baking, to provide a fun and social cookie decorating experience. Ashley will provide plenty of hands-on assistance to help you utilize several different decorating techniques including gold dusting, wet-on-wet, lace borders, piping, outlining and making a piped flower. Her website (www.loveandbaking.org) also provides several tips/tricks for those wanting to start their own cookie business. This workshop is for adults ages 21+ and is perfect for beginners as well as those with some experience under their belt. Your evening includes up to two glasses of complimentary wine, a special gift from Love & Baking and a chance for one attendee to win a take-home box of delicious cookies to enjoy! You’ll be provided with a bakery box to take home your cookie creations as well. Curate Mercantile will also be hosting a Galentine’s Day shopping event that evening, so the shop will be open until 8 pm if you’d like to browse either before or after your class. Bring a friend! Registration is required.
When: Thursday, Feb. 13th from 6 – 7:30 pm
Price and Materials: $50 per person includes hands-on instruction, supplies for decorating cookie hearts, special gift from Love & Baking, complimentary wine and a bakery box for transporting your cookies home.
About Your Instructor: Ashley, owner of Love & Baking in Denver, Colorado, is the ultimate sugar connoisseur. Through her passion for baking, teaching and technology, she sought a creative outlet for herself by starting her home-based cookie business. Ashley specializes in sugar cookies, tutorials and cookie classes to help others learn to love cookies and sweets as much as her!
Cancellation Policy: These workshops are built around solopreneurs, makers and small business owners! We are committed to offering you an amazing and fun experience, so we need your help to make the community work.
Most events must meet an established minimum set by the workshop host to move forward. If the minimum is not met 72 hours in advance of the event start time, the event will be automatically canceled and all registered guests will be refunded to their original form of payment. We will communicate with you if this occurs.
We understand that things come up, which may cause you to change your plans. You may request a refund of your registration more than 7 days in advance of the workshop. We are unable to grant refunds less than 7 days in advance of the paid workshop. In this instance, we suggest you sell or give away your registration to a friend.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we don’t require printed tickets.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable? Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
You may sell or give away your registration if you cannot make it to the event. Please e-mail us at email@example.com if someone else will be attending in your place.
